Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift - 4:15 AM - 12:30 PM

Hourly Rate: $28 - $34 / Hour

Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery and equipment
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical failures
Calibrate and test equipment to ensure precision and accuracy
Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and repairs
Utilize various tools and machinery including saws, drills, grinders, and welders
Work in compliance with safety standards and regulations
Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Familiarity with AC/DC systems and circuitry
Proficient in using multi-meters and other testing equipment
Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints
Experience with packaging machinery is a plus
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
