Position: Tax Senior

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Senior to join our team of tax professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax management and hold a CPA certification. The Tax Senior will be responsible for managing tax compliance and planning for various clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients and provide valuable tax advice and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
Perform tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
Advise clients on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits
Communicate with clients to gather necessary tax information and address any tax-related inquiries
Manage and develop relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service
Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance and support
Assist with tax audits and other tax-related projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA certification not required but preferred
Strong knowledge of individual, corporate, partnership, business, trust, gift, estate, NFP tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, 990, 1041)
Experience with tax planning and tax research
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
