Remote Tax Manager

Due to this growth we are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join us as we continue to capture more and more market share.

Position Overview
The Remote Tax Manager will oversee all aspects of tax compliance and reporting for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely tax filings while providing strategic tax planning advice to help our clients minimize their tax liabilities. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of federal and state tax regulations, as well as strong leadership skills to manage a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and review federal and state tax returns for various entities including partnerships, S-Corps, and C-Corps.
Provide tax compliance and consulting services to clients, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations.
Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with clients to develop tax-saving strategies and assist in financial reporting related to tax matters.
Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance on tax accounting and compliance matters.
Stay updated on the latest tax legislation and industry trends to deliver informed advice to clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting and compliance.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations, specifically for partnerships, S-Corps, and C-Corps.
Experience in financial reporting and tax planning strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
