What You Will Be Doing
**The chosen candidate will assist the project management team with ground up multi-family buildings with 200+ units. The team will be providing multi-stage construction oversight and will assist with the planning, job costing, and subcontractor selection on various projects in Arizona. Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting Senior PM's and CM's
- Reviewing project drawings and specs for contract compliance
- Preparing project submittals
- Assisting with job costing and estimating
- Monitoring project progress to ensure adherence to schedule and budget
- Maintaining daily logs to track and report progress of all project efforts
- Identifying and escalating any potential issues up the chain of command
- Assisting with the procurement or rental of equipment and materials
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with local subcontractors
- Identifying new bid opportunities
- Assisting with RFI's, material take-offs, and change orders
- Helping to promote/enforce QC and Safety plans
- Traveling to project sites as needed
- Coordinating site walks and final walk throughs
- Assisting with punch-list and close-out process
- Other tasks as needed
What You Need for this Position
3+ years of relevant commercial construction experience and:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis
- EIT or PE
- Prior experience representing a self-performing Developer/Builder is a PLUS
- Prior experience with ground up multi-family construction and/or high-rise
- Willingness to travel to job sites as needed
- Ability to interpret plans/specs
- Prior experience assisting with RFI's and change orders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Project, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with software including: Primavera, Blue Beam, Procore, Autodesk, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent deadline management
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Drivers license in good standing
- OSHA 10 or higher
