Sr. Tax Manager

Position Overview
The Sr. Tax Manager will oversee the tax compliance and reporting process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all tax regulations. This role involves managing a team of tax professionals, providing strategic tax planning, and serving as a key advisor to clients on tax-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage tax compliance for individuals and corporations, ensuring timely and accurate filing of federal and state tax returns.
• Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and risk mitigation.
• Supervise and mentor a team of tax associates, fostering professional development and enhancing team performance.
• Review complex tax returns, including 1040, 1120, and 1120S, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
• Conduct research on various tax matters and stay updated on changes in tax regulations that may impact clients.
• Collaborate with other departments and professionals to ensure comprehensive service delivery to clients.
• Manage client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact for tax-related inquiries.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; a Master's degree in Taxation is preferred.
• CPA certification is required; EA certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on public accounting.
• Proven experience in managing and supervising a team of tax professionals.
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle complex tax issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and team members.
