Senior Project Manager
Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager will lead and oversee multiple construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in utilities, construction, grading, dirt-work, excavation, civil construction, and site development, and will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of project management while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, from planning and design through execution and delivery.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements and objectives are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality of work, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project impacts.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on utilities, grading, dirt-work, and excavation.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools.
- Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) are highly desirable.
