Senior Job Captain - DSA | K-12

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Job Captain to oversee and lead the design and documentation of K-12 educational projects with a focus on DSA compliance. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a passion for enhancing educational environments through innovative architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the architectural design and documentation process for K-12 projects, ensuring compliance with DSA regulations.
Coordinate with project teams, clients, and consultants to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
Review and provide feedback on designs, drawings, and specifications to maintain high standards of quality.
Mentor and guide junior staff in best practices for architectural design and documentation.
Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to create detailed architectural plans and presentations.
Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and project status.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design and documentation, specifically within K-12 education projects.
Registered Architect (AIA) preferred, with NCARB certification.
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software.
Strong understanding of DSA regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
