Position Overview:
The Senior Audit Manager will be the primary manager for all internal audits of financial systems, processes, and transactions. This role will ensure that all audit processes are completed in accordance with accepted accounting and auditing standards. The Senior Audit Manager will also provide assistance in the identification and implementation of internal controls, as well as provide guidance to other members of the audit team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage internal audit activities
- Develop and execute audit testing programs to review financial transactions, systems, and processes
- Ensure that audit processes are in compliance with accepted accounting and auditing standards
- Identify and implement internal control measures
- Prepare detailed audit reports
- Review audit findings with managers and recommend solutions
- Provide guidance and support to other members of the audit team
- Prepare and sign off on financial statements
Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- Extensive knowledge of tax compliance for S-Corps, C-Corps, and Partnerships
- Proven experience as a Senior Audit Manager or Audit Director
- Strong understanding of financial statements and auditing processes
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and audit software
- Attention to detail and accuracy
