Safety Coordinator- Manufacturing

Position Overview
The Safety Coordinator is responsible for promoting and ensuring a safe working environment within the manufacturing facility. This role involves implementing safety policies and programs, conducting training sessions, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with industry regulations
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards
Provide training and resources to employees on safety practices and procedures
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the safety program
Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents, recommending corrective actions
Maintain accurate records of safety training and incidents
Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within the organization

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
Previous experience in a safety role within a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of MWP and MWP safety programs
Strong understanding of occupational health regulations and best practices
Excellent communication and training skills
Certification in safety management or a related discipline is a plus
