Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions with various stakeholders.
- Lead the planning and implementation of marine and heavy civil construction projects.
- Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop full-scale project plans and manage project budgets.
- Plan and schedule project timelines.
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
- Provide direction and support to the project team.
- Ensure quality assurance and jobsite safety compliance.
- Monitor and report on project progress.
- Implement and manage project changes to achieve desired outcomes.
- Conduct project evaluations and assessments.
- Inspect projects for compliance with building and safety codes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical, or Construction Engineering preferred.
- 5 years of experience as a Project Manager.
- Experience overseeing diverse projects.
- Extensive knowledge of OSHA construction regulations.
- 2 years of experience in remote construction and rural logistics required.
- Preferred experience with USACE, NAVFAC, or other federal contracting.
- Experience with surveying and construction layout preferred.
