We are looking for a Project Manager that has the ability to organize as well as prioritize and pay attention to detail, while taking responsibility for their actions and decisions, and representing yourself in a positive and professional manner.
In this Project Manager role, your main responsibility will be budgeting and scheduling. 70 % of your time will be spent in office, and 30 % of your time will be spent out in the field at project sites.
You will be asked to Lead the safety effort by recognizing and correcting hazards as soon as they are present and be the #1 safety advocate for the division, and lead the effort for the execution of subcontracts and purchase orders and coordinate with the Division Administrative Assistant in-house preconstruction meetings.
You will be asked to Communicate production goals to team members in the field, communicate resource needs with the Division leader, and communicate with architects, engineers or owners to proactively resolve issues.
You will be asked to Work with the Superintendent to ensure the project schedule is met/exceeded and monitor the quality of work, while also working with the division leader to meet/exceed division goals.
You will need to Produce accurate and thorough proposals on or ahead of schedule, produce the project package to Superintendent prior to in house preconstruction meeting and produce and distribute weekly project report.
Last but not least you will Ensure that our projects maintain a professional appearance at all time and that all team members abide by company policy.
At least 5+ years of Commercial Construction experience with:
- Working knowledge of Vista, Viewpoint Team, Heavy Bid and Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, & Teams
- Ability to be punctual, dependable and professional at all times
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to read and interpret plans / specs / regulations
- Proficiency in calculations and data entry
- Must have the following skills: Communication skills, Information management skills, Problem-solving skills, Relationship building skills, and Economic evaluation skills to determine best value
- Ability to be organized and prioritized
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Willingness to work hours as required
- Willingness to go the extra mile with surges in workloads
- Ability to represent yourself and the company in a professional manner at all times
