I have a client that is a general contractor specializing in a wide range of services including demolition, interior demolition, excavation, grading, concrete installation, underground utility installation, sewer and water systems, site work, water management, contaminated soil removal, hazardous waste removal, and oil and fuel tank removals. We serve residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

They are looking for a skilled Project Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project accounting, with the ability to analyze budgets, manage change orders, and oversee subcontractor requirements.

Duties:

Monthly Job Billings: Ensure timely and accurate billing for all projects.
Subcontractor Waivers: Manage and process monthly waivers efficiently.
Project Setup: Get new projects up and running in our accounting software.
Change Orders & Budget Updates: Keep our accounting software up-to-date with all changes.
Insurance Compliance: Verify that subcontractor and general contractor insurance is current for each project.
Project Manager Support: Assist with sending out subcontract purchase orders and Master Vendor Agreements.
Subcontractor Compliance: Ensure subcontractors meet all payroll and contract-specific requirements.
IDOL/LCP Tracker Assistance: Help with entries to keep everything on track.

Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in the construction industry.
Proficiency with Ebuilder.
Strong skills in Office 365.
Experience with Procore or a willingness to learn.
Knowledge of Sage Contractor 100 or other accounting software.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $65,000-$85,000 + Annual Bonus
