Principal Frontend Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a Principal Frontend Engineer to lead the development of out innovative mobile applications. This role requires a deep understanding of frontend technologies, particularly React Native and JavaScript, and the ability to design scalable and maintainable code. The Principal Engineer will be in charge of future planning, designing, testing, and writing code while working closely with cross-functional teams to create user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.

Our vision, is for our application to allow any user to become a video game creator.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of high-quality frontend applications using React Native and JavaScript.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and implement application features.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior frontend engineers to foster skill development and innovation.
Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to advocate for new tools and techniques that improve the development process.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
5+ years of experience in frontend development with a strong focus on React Native and JavaScript.
Proficiency in additional technologies such as REACT, TypeScript, and Python is a plus.
Experience with mobile application development for Android platforms.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
