We are a top firm that specializes in personal injury cases. We have experience handling cases involving a wide range of catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases, including nursing home negligence, medical malpractice, negligent security, products liability and auto negligence.
We are seeking an experienced Attorney for our litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years' of litigation experience. Trial experience preferred.
The firm offers competitive compensation with a base salary, a percentage based on the cases you resolve and a percentage based on the cases you originate. In addition, there is an annual bonus potential and a benefits package.
Responsibilities:
-Ability to review, analyze and draft pleadings
-Experience reviewing records to effectively draft demand letters and negotiate with insurance carrier and opposing counsel
-Attend hearings, depositions, mediations and trials in state and federal court
-Manage cases, support staff and meet client expectations effectively
Qualifications:
-4+ years of litigation experience
-Trial experience is preferred
-Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of litigation cases from inception to trial
-Have strong written and verbal communication skills
-Have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
-Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-Be proactive, and a self-starter
