Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Multi-Craft Technician to join our maintenance team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely. This role requires a proactive approach to preventive maintenance and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment and machinery.
Perform preventive maintenance checks and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment as needed.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and inventory supplies.
Collaborate with production staff to ensure optimal equipment performance and production efficiency.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or food manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to work 2nd shift and flexible hours as needed.
