We are a owner/operator with a portfolio of commercial and residential properties in the Boston area. As we grow we need another maintenance technician to join our team The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and functional environment. This role involves troubleshooting issues and performing repairs across various systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks. The role comes with a service vehicle as you will spend most of your days on the road work at our different facilities, doing a variety of different chores, so you will never get bored. Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance checks and repairs on facilities and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and components.
Conduct plumbing repairs and maintain fixtures.
Service and repair HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
Handle appliance repairs as needed to maintain functionality.
Manage locks and key systems, ensuring security and accessibility.
Execute basic carpentry tasks to repair and maintain structures.
Perform janitorial tasks to maintain cleanliness in facilities.
Carry out painting and drywall repairs as necessary.
Conduct general facilities maintenance and upkeep activities.
Assist with grounds and snow removal to ensure safe access and aesthetic appeal.
Utilize Tough Tech and Building Engines Software for maintenance tracking and reporting.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Ability to perform basic carpentry and general repair tasks.
Experience with appliance repair and janitorial services.
Familiarity with maintenance management software, specifically Tough Tech and Building Engines Software.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in various environmental conditions.
