Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney specializing in General Liability to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of complex litigation cases, focusing on insurance defense, premises liability, and auto/transportation claims. This position requires a strong advocate with excellent analytical and communication skills, dedicated to achieving favorable outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in court and before governmental agencies in litigation matters
Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
Conduct extensive legal research and analysis to support case strategies
Manage all phases of litigation from pre-trial to trial and appeal
Collaborate with clients, witnesses, and experts to build strong cases
Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions
Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends affecting general liability and insurance defense

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
Minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on general liability and insurance defense
Strong knowledge of premises liability, auto, and transportation law
Exceptional research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines
Proven track record of successful case outcomes and client relations
