With 50+ years in business, we are well established manufacturing company for highly technical communications equipment used by private and government agencies.

We are currently in need of a Lead SMT Process Engineer. This person should have experience with a wide range of PCBA production equipment.

What You Will Be Doing

Facilitate day-to-day activities supporting the PCBA production line, including shift guidance, PMs, cleaning, equipment setup, operation, programming/debug, and troubleshooting
Collaborate with Engineering on the design and development of new products and maintenance of current products
Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production plans to meet production goals
Set up and operate SMT production line equipment (Stencil, P&P, oven, etc.)
Identify and lead process improvement projects to enhance efficiency, quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction

What You Need for this Position

4+ years in a similar position
Experience with various PCBA production equipment (Stencil printer, Pick & Place, wave solder, X-Ray, AOI, etc.)
Proficiency with basic hand tools and battery-operated tools
Experience with ODB+ file import and checking
Ability to run design for Assembly (DFA) and Manufacturing (DFM) checks
Verify design of Panel/Array for PCB and ensure proper stencil for SMT build
Bachelor's Degree is preferred
