4. Jay-Z just bought a Spotify competitor [Fast Company]
Through his Project Panther business entity, hip hop star Jay-Z just purchased Aspiro, a music streaming company that is, coincidentally, out of Sweden (like its competitor Spotify).
Aspiro specializes in high-fidelity digital audio, and Project Panther finalized the purchase today for a reported $56 million.
