Google’s newest little gadget, ChromeCast, is all the rage right now! The purpose of the ChromeCast is to easily plug into your TV’s HDMI port and then watch the Internet on TV.
The Content Lab points out that as Google helps us streamline the web and TV, we’re going to be seeing more quality videos by brands that want to showcase their story. Employers might start producing and investing in more videos to depict their workplace culture.
Even more and more job seekers will pounce on the opportunity to submit video resumes (by the way, check out this article on when to use a video resume).
For a mere $35, your TV can slowly become your bigger, better monitor. If the functionality is as good as it promises, every home and workplace TV will have one!
One cool perk: there’s no annoying remote to deal with (I’m looking at you Apple TV). You can control your favorite viewing material (Netflix, YouTube, etc.) from an app on your phone or from an extension on the Chrome web browser on your laptop.
This is going to offer a much more seamless transition from the web to your TV. It was sold out of major retail stores, including Amazon, Best Buy and the Google Play Store within 24 hours.
Here at CyberCoders, we are always enthusiastic about the hottest new gadget to help us work hard and play hard! The ChromeCast is clearly an easy way to watch all of your favorite videos at the comfort of your living room. And it’s going to be a game changer in the way we watch videos!
