Job Title: Heavy Civil Construction - Senior Project Manager

Location: Nashville, TN (85% Office, 15% Field Travel)

Salary: $130k- $140k DOE; allowances and performance bonuses

Requirements: 8+ years experience in Bridge/Heavy Commercial Construction; 5+ years experience in Project Management

We seek a Senior Project Manager with experience in heavy civil construction such as bridges, heavy highway, and roadways. The ideal candidate will have experience managing subcontractors and self-perform crews on projects, have extensive project profitability experience, and will have an impressive background utilizing construction management software to communicate all aspects of the construction project. In addition, the Senior Project Manager will work with estimating to secure bids and solicit subcontractors and will team-up with the Superintendent to enforce project safety and timelines.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Partner with the Project Superintendent to manage and administer heavy highway/civil construction projects.
• Lead estimating, subcontractor management and procurement, submittal processing, and ensuring project milestones are met for schedule, budget, and quality
• Maintain a strong safety culture - the project manager has the authority to stop work if unsafe conditions exist
• Utilize deep technical understanding of heavy civil/heavy highway projects and lead constructability reviews
• Develop quantity surveys, forecasting costs, and monitoring self-performed work costs
• Supervise project documentation, punchlist development, ensuring a smooth closeout

What You Need for this Position

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Bridge/Heavy Highway Construction
• 5+ years in Heavy Civil Project Management
• Thorough understanding of TDOT (Tennessee Department of Transportation)
• Experience with civil construction software such as: AGTEK, Bluebeam, HeavyJob, Heavy Bid, PlanGrid, BIM360, etc.
