Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in civil engineering principles and possess a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license. This role involves providing expert geotechnical analysis and design to support various construction projects, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct site investigations and geotechnical studies to assess soil and rock properties.
Perform analyses for slope stability, foundation design, and groundwater management.
Prepare and review geotechnical reports, engineering calculations, and construction recommendations.
Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to develop project plans and specifications.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in all geotechnical work.
Evaluate construction materials for geotechnical applications and provide recommendations.
Participate in risk assessment and risk management activities related to geotechnical engineering projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the relevant state.
Proven experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably in a consulting environment.
Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation design, and environmental engineering principles.
Familiarity with site investigations and construction material evaluation.
Excellent report writing and communication skills.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and other engineering software is a plus.
Project management experience is desirable.
