Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated General Litigation Defense Attorney to join our dynamic team in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Civil Litigation and a passion for delivering exceptional legal representation. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of cases and collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys.

Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in general litigation defense matters, including court appearances, depositions, and mediations.
Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
Develop and implement effective defense strategies tailored to each case.
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to ensure efficient case management.
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process.
Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Illinois.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Civil Litigation.
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
