Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented HVAC Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of HVAC projects, ensuring that all necessary materials, labor, and overhead are taken into account. The HVAC Estimator will also collaborate with project managers and clients to provide clear and concise project estimates, contributing to the successful completion of HVAC installations and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

Review project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work.
Prepare detailed estimates for HVAC projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.
Collaborate with project managers and clients to clarify project requirements and address any discrepancies.
Analyze historical data and market trends to make informed estimating decisions.
Provide support during the bidding process and assist in negotiations with clients and suppliers.
Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance in estimations.
Assist in preparing project schedules and timelines based on estimates.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an estimator in the HVAC industry or related field.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
Experience with finish carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems is a plus.
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost estimation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
