Estimator - Civil Commercial Construction

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator for our Civil Commercial Construction projects. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing cost estimates for a variety of construction projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness, while also providing support in bid preparation and project management.

Key Responsibilities

Review project plans and specifications to prepare accurate estimates for civil commercial construction projects.
Conduct site visits to gather necessary data for estimating purposes.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Assist in bid preparation and submission, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to understand project requirements and constraints.
Monitor project budgets and provide cost analysis throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating for civil construction projects.
Proficient in estimating software and tools.
Strong understanding of construction management and project management principles.
Experience in bid preparation and heavy civil projects including excavation and grading.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
