Founded in 1988 we are a 70 employee MEP consulting firm that provides structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing & fire protection engineering services to clients across the east coast. Over the past year we've increased our business development headcount by 30% as we make an active effort to expand our reach & gain market share in the space. The markets we most commonly target include commercial, higher education, government, hospitality, healthcare and multi-family homes. For this Electrical Design Engineer position, we're looking for someone with a strong Electrical Building design background w/ their degree in Electrical Engineering who can serve as a lead on a team.

We are looking to add a Electrical Designer II to our office in Orlando, FL!

What You Will Be Doing

Designing and drafting electrical systems for new and renovated building construction on consulting projects.
Utilizing software such as Revit and AutoCAD for design and documentation.
Producing permit and contract documents for electrical systems, including power, lighting and fire alarm systems.
Coordinating with other engineering disciplines and construction personnel to meet project deadlines.

What You Need For This Job

B.A. in Electrical Engineering (Masters Degree Preferred)
3+ Years in building electrical systems.
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
Knowledge of electrical equipment and local building codes.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
