Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in PLC, HMI, and Automation technologies and a strong understanding of industrial control systems. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for our manufacturing processes. They will work closely with our production and engineering teams to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement control systems for various manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify control system needs and provide solutions
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and other automation equipment
- Conduct testing and commissioning of control systems to ensure proper functionality
- Develop and maintain documentation for control systems, including schematics, manuals, and procedures
- Stay updated on advancements in control system technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems
- Provide technical support and training to production and maintenance teams
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial control systems and automation
- Strong knowledge of PLC, HMI, and automation technologies
- Proficient in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for control systems
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
