Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Controller for our construction company, responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and managing financial reporting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial strategy and decision-making to support our growth and operational efficiency.

*Full-time onsite in Tamarac, FL.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all financial operations within the construction division
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and variance reports
Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant financial regulations
Manage the accounting team and coordinate financial audits
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
Monitor cash flow and financial performance to support strategic planning
Collaborate with project managers to provide financial insights and support for ongoing projects
Support management in strategic financial planning and decision-making

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting (preferred)
10+ years Controller experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
Proficiency with SAGE software (preferably SAGE 300)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
