Construction Estimator

Position Overview
The Construction Estimator is responsible for analyzing project plans, specifications, and bids to provide accurate cost estimates for construction projects. This role plays a critical part in the overall project lifecycle, ensuring that projects are financially viable and completed within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze project plans and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.
Collaborate with project managers and general contractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
Utilize cost database and historical data to establish benchmarks for future projects.
Prepare and submit bid proposals to clients and stakeholders in a timely manner.
Monitor project costs and assist in cost control measures throughout the construction process.
Attend project meetings to provide insight on budgeting and estimating processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a construction estimator or similar role, with a strong understanding of construction processes.
Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, and codes.
Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
