Position Overview:

We're seeking a Lead Automation Controls Engineer to oversee and execute automation projects and manage team members. Based in Mt. Zion, IL we are an expert in Controls Engineering, Consulting and turn-key factory automation and integration services. Our automation solutions succeed by applying superior technical knowledge, in depth process expertise and strong project management skills. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise assigned team members.
Ensure projects are completed within budget and on time.
Communicate project status updates to customers as needed.
Handle electrical design and hardware specifications.
Design and program advanced control systems.
Simulate, test, and debug control systems in-house.
Coordinate and oversee control system startups at the end-user's facility.

Qualifications:

Relevant degree or at least 5 years of experience with:

project engineering and/or project management, specifically with control system integration projects.
Proficiency in Electrical Design, PLCs, HMI, SCADA software, device communication protocols, and networking.
Must be skilled in at least one programming language.
