Position Overview
We are a boutique defense firm seeking a highly motivated attorney to join our team. We pride ourselves on culture as well as work life balance by providing a low billable hour requirement as well as aggressive bonus structure.

Key Responsibilities

Provide legal advice to clients on a wide range of legal matters.
Represent clients in court and other legal proceedings.
Draft legal documents, such as contracts, agreements and pleadings.
Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Attend meetings with clients and other legal professionals to discuss legal matters and provide guidance.
Manage a caseload of legal matters and ensure that all deadlines are met.
Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
Active bar membership in the state where practicing.
Minimum of 6 years experience in Civil Litigation focused on either Employment Defense or Insurance Defense
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
