Job Opportunity: Project Manager - Architecture Team

Key Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Develop and present architectural designs that align with client goals and local regulations.
  • Oversee all aspects of project development, from conceptual design to construction administration, managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and communicating design solutions clearly.
  • Ensure all architectural designs comply with local jurisdictions, California residential building codes, zoning laws, and industry standards.
  • Utilize Revit, AutoDesk Build, BuilderTrend, and Microsoft Teams for design, documentation, and coordination.
  • Manage designers and drafters, coordinate with engineers, and collaborate with landscape architects and construction teams.
  • Integrate sustainable design practices and innovative technologies/materials into architectural solutions.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years in residential architectural design and project management.
  • An architect license (preferred) or be actively pursuing licensure.
  • Proficiency in Revit and other design software.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and construction standards.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and work under tight deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and navigate job sites, including climbing stairs.
  • Capable of distinguishing colors for design accuracy.
