Position Overview
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the company's outgoing payments and ensuring that all invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage all accounts payable transactions in a timely manner.
• Review and verify invoices for accuracy and proper coding.
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.
• Prepare and process electronic payments and checks.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies that arise.
• Assist in month-end closing processes and prepare reports related to accounts payable.
• Maintain accurate records for all accounts payable transactions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
