The Account Executive position is responsible for creating and maintaining customer relationships to uncover customer needs and potential sales opportunities. Once opportunities have been developed, the Account Executive will work with the Design Engineer to define and refine customer criteria, document/clarify customer needs and ensure accuracy in the design for proposal preparation if needed. The Account Executive position, as well as the Design Engineer position, will be supported by the Director of Sales.
- 3 or more years of proven experience as an Account Executive, or in other sales/customer service role.
- Background in technical security, access control, networking or a similar field is a plus
- Knowledge of MS Office and CRM software
- Demonstrate business acumen and a deep understanding of business sales processes.
- Selling to Communication Infrastructures
- Experience in low voltage and/or security field experience (relevant experience can include; Access Controls, Video, and Intrusion Detection System installation, system design, and/or other low voltage system and component installation)
- AV - CCTV - Security Systems - Fire Alarm Systems - Telecommunications
- Synthesize a variety of components-including voice, data, video, security and wireless technologies
